Samples of Lyn's sculptural
and Raku works

Lyn has been teaching sculpture on the Sunshine Coast since 2009 and before that in Brisbane since 2004 after completing her Advanced Diploma of Ceramics.

Major prize winner at the R.N.A. Show, Brisbane, in the sculpture section in 2009.

Speciality area: Quirky Raku animals and figures.

Raku involves removing red hot items from the kiln (very carefully) and placing into combustible material in a bin, sealing and removing the oxygen from the pot and glaze.

The results are unpredictable but amazing!
